Bupleurum fructicosum is a perennial shrub of max 2 to 2,5 meter high, found on warm, deserted places in the south of France and near the Mediteranean region. [The essential oil is little known in the US; sometimes called Buplevre]

There are three other pages associated with this page. Unfortunately the pictures showing the harvest (page 2) were not properly archived and are missing. We are planning on recovering them if possible.

I expressed an old dream on the idma aromatherapy mailing list on 16/2/1998: "I dream of a better use of the web possibilities and a cooperation of webpage owners or designers, to make a huge common work on aromatherapy and related subjects. Different people cooperating with the same purpose: making info available and enabling communication. If we would cooperate, one member would make some space on his/her pages for long updated references on books, another person could keep updated a huge link page,sorted by subject and country with clear descriptions, another making images available..."
